Next to the farm is Creepy Crawlies play barn and the Web Adventure, with a day full of child friendly adventure.
York is lucky enought to be surrounded by some magnificent houses.

Beningborough Hall

There is also a little ferry that crosses the river which takes you to Nun Monkton. There is a lovely pub there called The Alice Hawthorne.

Castle Howard
Home to Skelf Island,a big hit with the kids, this estate caters for everyone.
House, gardens cafe and even a garden centre.
Burnby Hall
The gardens here are a real delight to see especially when the tulips are in bloom.
